Adult Education

CAS offers a truly rich schedule of adult education offerings. We use readings, music, meditation and discussion to add our own voices to the Jewish tradition. In open, honest dialogue we deepen our understanding of new topics, refresh familiar terrain and support one another on the spiritual path.

Adult educational programs are held on the Saturdays and Sundays following Friday night services.

They are held at the Congregational office; located at 3143 Logan Valley Road, Traverse City, MI 49684

Taught by Reb Seth, these classes are stimulating and very enjoyable! 

Saturdays

10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. – Learner's minyan: study of the prayers and prayer book

11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. – Lunch & Learn: delve into various topics of Jewish interest. Nourishment for body and soul -  who could ask for anything more!!! Bring a dish to share.

 Sundays

1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.  – Beginning Hebrew
