Adult Education

Programs

CAS offers a truly rich schedule of adult education offerings for individuals with varying degrees of Jewish knowledge. We use classic and contemporary texts along with teachings from our rabbi and discussion as a pathway to deeper understanding and wisdom.

Taught by Rabbi Seth, these classes are stimulating and very enjoyable! 

  • Lunch & Learn: delve into various topics of Jewish interest. Nourishment for body and soul -  who could ask for anything more!!! Bring a dairy or parve dish to share.
  • Beginning Hebrew.
  • Torah Study.
  • Introduction to Judaism. (By conference call.)

Schedule

Adult educational programs are held on the Saturdays and Sundays once a month. The schedule changes depending on the schedule for Shabbat services. Please check the calendar for up-to-date information.


Rabbi Seth teaches several classes using phone conferencing. To participate, simply dial (712) 338-8710. A voice will request the access code, which is 1234. If you hear music, you are the first one to arrive. If you hear voices, introduce yourself! Please consult the calendar for conference dates and times.
